Paper Cup Fun

The Packing crew came in today and put everything in boxes. Unfortunately, the semi truck moved the pick up day to Wednesday so we have to wait here at the house with nothing to really play with. I bought some plastic cups, plates and utensils. Last night, Renee, Lincoln and I came up with a new game that started from two cups.

It is funny because the Markham side of my family has some amazing engineers and architects. My great Grandfather was an architect that designed the Washington DC temple. My Grandfather was an architect who designed half of Provo, Utah over the last 50 year, my personal favorite project he worked on was the BYU Football stadium. My father has worked for the church for almost 30 years as an engineer and worked on projects ranging from the first stake center I served in on my mission in the Philippines to the Hong Kong temple, to the many buildings dotting our country. So what have I done with my amazing genes? Well.....this video is the pinnacle of my engineering accomplishments.

Dancing Boy

Lincoln loves his wiggles music. He knows every song to those guys. We bought the most recent CD and it is a hit with him. I captured some video of him dancing while we were getting our home ready for the move. I put some different music to it. I don't think we will see him on "So you think you can dance" anytime in his life but I enjoy watching his sweet moves!

Claire in her carseat

We were on a walk the other night when it cooled down....for Phoenix cooled down was 100 degrees.....and claire was having a great time.  She is such a good little girl. Sleeps for four hours, wakes up and plays for an hour, eats then falls asleep for another four hours. She is growing up fast!

Lincoln's Friend Derek

My long time friend Derek is staying with us for a few nights. He is in Law school at ASU. Lincoln loves Derek. If lincoln wont get dressed we tell him "Derek likes this shirt" then Lincoln gets happy and wants to wear the shirt.

Lincoln also named his red train Derek after Derek. It is pretty funny since Derek is such a huge BYU sports fan that he doesn't own anything red. So Derek was pretty disappointed that red was his train. The name for the blue train was already taken....Thomas.
