Ever since he attended his cousin Alex's 4th birthday this summer in North Pole Alaska where they hit a pinata he has been wanting a pinata for his own birthday. We were going to keep the sports rivalry going by purchasing a basketball guy dressed in red and we would put a big U on the front. The problem was when we pulled it down and the store it was a girl. It just didn't seem right to have a girl pinata, not the right message. So Lincoln picked out a Cars Pinata. We filled it with some candy and a Kazoo, hung it in the entry by an extension cord and hit it with Lincoln's pitching wedge. It was very fun especially since I was able to break it. They really make those things to be strong! Happy birthday buddy!!

Lincoln's 3rd Birthday Bash
My parents and Liz were in town from Utah this week so we decided to have an early birthday celebration. Lincoln picked out an awesome ice cream cake from baskin robbins. He didn't get many presents since it was just Christmas and he has more than he needs. He got some cute cowboy pajamas from Grandma and Grandpa, then he received Polar Express DVD from his Mom and Dad.

Good job Lincoln! And Happy late Birthday! He looks so happy in the video! And i LOVE the picture of Claire sticking her lips out!! That is the cutest thing ever!! So cute! oh and thanks again Dan for recording those shows for Michael. He is really loving the new shows.
That was awesome! I love how everyone had their own style of whacking that pinata! I also like the choice of club...pitching wedge is definitely the way to go.
Oh! When you tell Lincoln to show his muscles and he starts flexing...classic!
That is by far the most durable pinata I have ever seen. Liz tomahawked that sucker and it still would not go down. Go Lightning McQueen!
I agree with Matty: The muscle-flexing while holding the beat-up fender in the other hand was classic. Lincoln is the man.
That was one tough pinata! Looks like a fun birthday! So good you could have your family there too.
